Linx

Seamlessly integrate Linx with bKlug to manage catalog and checkout within WhatsApp.

Overview

Integrate Linx Commerce with bKlug to sync your catalog, inventory, and checkout directly through WhatsApp.

What you will set up

To complete the integration with bKlug, you will need to:

  • identify your store’s Linx Account
  • create a dedicated integration user
  • make sure this user belongs to a group with the correct permissions
  • configure the integration queue for catalog and inventory events
  • create the access source for order tracking

Requirements

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  1. Linx Account (store alias)
  2. Integration user created in Linx Commerce
  3. Password for the integration user
Important: The Linx Account is usually the store identifier shown in the Linx Commerce admin panel URL.

1. How to identify your Linx Account

  1. Access the Linx Commerce Admin panel.
  2. Check the URL in your browser.
  3. Identify the store name shown in the URL.
  4. This value is the Linx Account that bKlug will request during onboarding.

Example

If the Admin URL looks like this: https://{store-alias}.linxcommerce.com.br/admin then {store-alias} is your Linx Account.

If you are unsure which value to use, send the Admin URL to the bKlug team and we will validate it for you.

2. Create the integration user

We recommend creating a dedicated user for bKlug, separate from operational or personal admin users.

Official Linx documentation: Create a new user

2.1 Menu path

In the Linx Commerce admin panel, go to: Configs → Users → Add user

2.2 How to fill it in

Use this recommended standard:

  • Name: bKlug Integration
  • Email: a valid company email address
  • Username (login): bklug.integration
  • User Group: select a group with the required permissions
  • Status: Active

According to Linx documentation, when creating a user you can fill in the name, email, login, password, user group, and status. If no password is set during creation, the platform sends an email so the user can define or reset it.

2.3 User group and permissions

The user group defines which menus, flows, modules, and permissions this user will have in the admin panel. Linx recommends configuring the group in: Configs → User Groups → Add Group

When creating the group:

  1. choose a name for the group
  2. under the General tab, define which menus belong to the group
  3. under Permissions, configure the order statuses, flows, and modules the user will be allowed to access
  4. save the configuration

2.4 Activate the user

After creating the user:

  1. you will receive an email to define the password, if it was not created during setup
  2. complete the password setup
  3. return to the user profile
  4. enable the Integration Only option

This helps restrict the account to API use only.

Best practice: Do not reuse personal or operational admin users for the integration. Always create a dedicated login.

3. Enter your credentials in bKlug

Once the steps above are completed, enter credentials in onboarding bKlug:

  • Linx Account
  • Username
  • Password
These credentials will be used to connect your store to bKlug and enable catalog sync and checkout.

4. Configure the integration queue

The integration queue is responsible for sending store events to bKlug, especially updates related to categories, products, SKUs, inventory, and availability.

Official Linx documentation: Integration queue

4.1 Create the integration queue

To configure the integration queue, please follow the step-by-step instructions in the bKlug platform internal documentation.

There you will find:

  • the correct queue name
  • the correct queue alias
  • the exact configuration pattern to use for your store
Important: Always use the queue information provided in the bKlug internal documentation during onboarding. If you use a different name or alias, the integration may not work correctly.

5. Configure the access source (UTM)

The access source allows orders coming from bKlug to be identified and tracked properly.

Official Linx documentation: New access source

5.1 Menu path

Go to: Marketing → Access Sources → Add Source

5.2 How to fill it in

In the Access Source tab, fill in:

  • Name: bklug
  • utm_source: bklug
Recommendation: Use exactly the values provided by bKlug to keep tracking standardized.

Tips

  • Ensure all products have clear names, prices, and images
  • Use structured attributes (size, color, category)
  • Keep stock levels updated to prevent order issues

Once integrated, Linx Commerce products and cart actions will flow naturally in WhatsApp through your bKlug assistant.
